claireadams Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I've looked but so far hit a total loss. For some reason some staff logons are changing all by themselves. Say my logon was set to [email protected] they are being changed to [email protected] . Unfortunatly a piece of software requires that logon name to be exact for it to run so it's causing all sorts of issues. I can't see anything obvious within the GPO's (but I wouldn't put it past the fact I'm missing something) Anyone have any idea's or had it happen to them?
bobsmith Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 have you got any clever software like salamandersoft linking your MIS to the AD? 1
Michael Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Presumably you have one of more Trusts in place for the domain extension to change to @whatever.org How many people have Domain Admin rights to your network?
CyberDrac Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Do you use Capita/SIMS Active Directory Provisioning for anything?
IGB Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 SIMS AD Provisioning does this when a personel record gets updated. Look in SIMS & verify the email address in the contact information. The one set to Main I think is the cause of this
claireadams Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 Thinks it's been resolved. Someone ran a powershell script. Ergh!
