sidewinder Posted November 2, 2016 Author Posted November 2, 2016 Thanks, yeah only setup on the primary DC currently
mikkydoos Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Are you sure its not your clients ? Are they fresh installs or from an images. Is the image sysprepped ? You might be looking at a bare metal DC rebuild if not the clients.
sidewinder Posted November 3, 2016 Author Posted November 3, 2016 No, well it could be but one of the clients affected was replaced with a brand new PC (not because of this!) and a brand new image (yes sysprepped) and the issue still occurs. The fact it seems to be the same areas though is curious, though it certainly isn't all clients on a certain switch or anything like that. Having checked a few problematic clients this morning, the records actually seem to have stayed since Monday which is unusual. Only thing I changed then was to update the DNS dynamic update credentials in DHCP - it was already set but I re-input the password in case the service account password had changed...so fingers crossed.
