speckytecky Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 We run a Remote Desktop Server for a limited number of staff. It works a treat. However, recently two users have reported getting a message saying various options as to why they were unable to connect. Server not available etc. I had their laptops at home today logged on as them and both connected perfectly. My suspicion is that it might be some change in their home ISP Firewall status blocking them. Am I on the right lines or is there something more obvious that I'm overlooking?
dblight Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I've seen exactly the same. And replicated the problem. In my case the Virgin super hub had the firewall set to medium or moderate if I remember correctly. Turned it off and it worked a treat. Worth a try 1
