That reminds me - must check to see if we've got the resources to get some farming stations or forestry farms up and running now. Harvesting the giant field takes a while!

I got my rotarycraft lubricant creation semi-automated and so can now start looking at other things from there, primarily the bedrock breaker and the extractor.

I started clearing some space to sort out automated farming last night.

Also replaced a load of the torches with lanterns. Although I'm not entirely sure about them now they're there.

I was thinking of automating my ethanol production for fuel. I'm going to automate the fermenters first as I think it's going to be fairly straightforward to do.

@localzuk you might want to look at immersive engineering or rotarycraft floodlights.

I thought it might have been you with all the lanterns!

What method were you planning on using to automate farming? I need to get my canola seed production automated really as that's the last step in automation of lubricant.

Made a start on our first forestry farm last night. Set up a couple of dedicated Mekanism wind turbines to run it, rather than running conduit everywhere.

If anyone finds apatite, please collect it! We'll need it for the farms.

I'm making headway on my journey through rotarycraft. I now have 2 tungsten ingots with which to make a bedrock breaker. The next challenge will be to power that.

I also now have the rotarycraft extractor figured out, so if anyone comes across any rare ores or minerals (like certus quartz or apatite) please don't mine them unless you have a silk touch pick.

I had to go out so I didn't get as much done as I'd like. I've built a second fermenter got it a little bit automated. Working out which items go in which side is proving a headache. I'm testing with hoppers and it's proving non-obvious.

I did build some Immersive Engineering Street lights though and hook them up with power.

Myself and @localzuk went for a little explore in the nether and managed to locate a nether fort. I don't have the co-ords to hand (Dynmap wont load through the work proxy servers :/) but I can tell you when I'm online or show you ingame. I've carved out a tunnel that leads directly to the nether fort.

@ADMaster (I think :)) found some certus quartz last night and I managed to get myself a pick with silk touch on it. we now have just over 1.5 stacks of certus ore which is running through the extractor. I also got some of the diamond ore that was in the same cave, though couldn't get all of it due to lava.

When I've processed all of the certus and got a decent amount of nether quartz, I'll carry on with the expansion of the AE network and hopefully get the storage back under control. On that note, we now have 4 64k ME storage drives, so we're temporarily alright.

From rotarycraft, I now have a bedrock breaker, but no way to power it as it needs ludicrous amounts of power. I'm unlikely to get anywhere with that until we have a decent supply of jet fuel, which relies on blaze powder and soul sand quite heavily.

Got a bit more automation set up last night. Learned that the rolling machine is a pain because it uses patterns and doesn't lend itself to automation. You need one machine for every pattern. I'm now working on automating the production of steel. I'm thinking of using a level emitter so that there's a 'loop stock' of steel in the system, because on demand production would take ages.

I made a nice simple setup to automate the extractor... 4 machines, 5 engines, a CVT and a 1 minute clock. I'm exporting ores to a chest so that it will automatically extract relevant ores. I might add an alloy smelter so that we get the end product out, rather than flakes.

Something has exploded in the AE room... Taken out a big chunk of stuff... None of the AE system really though luckily.

Also, I now have a Digital Miner up and running, and the parts to make the Quarry and Ender Quarry (bar tungsten and a bedrock pick). So we'll be able to claim that quest soon.
