'Something is wrong' when none domain admins log in.

Get this error when i log in as somebody without Domain Admin rights. All i want them to access is some shared areas?

Could do with some help with this - can't find anything in the error logs either?

1. Go into the setup, re enter the Admin AD username and password and save

2. Check you have enabled local logon rights on the server you are running HAP+ on.

I'm also having this error, the setup page accepts the login info for admin, but once I've saved the config and look again it comes up with a red X next to Base Settings.

I've made sure Allow log on locally and Deny log on locally policies are set as Not Defined on the server..

The fix worked for me - But just a heads up - I allowed local login rights to our DC and it messed some things up.

So i would suggest anyone to use a Virtual Web server instead of IIS on your DC

Ok, thanks for the heads up. I am using IIS 6 because we've got old servers here so virtual isn't an option - I haven't rebooted the server yet though after setting the Allow log on locally policy, so it could be that it just needs a reboot.

Just a note, it does say in the docs, use a separate server not a domain controller where possible.

 

Something is wrong is defiantly HAP+ saying 'Help I can't impersonate this user, the server won't allow me to'. This 9/10 points to the local logon rights not existing is gpedit.msc
