[User Group] SQL 2016 - New features - Ipswich, Suffolk

Just to let you folks know we are running a "What's new in SQL Server 2016 for a BI Professional" session - its free, pizza will be provided. Free parking also at the venue, University Campus Suffolk (UCS) Waterfront Building. Its a great way to find out about some of the new bits coming to SQL Server. Its also not tied to any software vendor - so if your worried about that your career is pretty much limited to, say, SIMS, its a great first step at breaking the vendor lock-in and getting some more generic skills that can be transferred out of a the school environment.

My sql person says he "can't think of a worse way to spend an evening" so I don't think he'll be going - if he got time off work during the day it'd probably be a different response

@Sagima - it is sad when you find people who aren't enjoying their job - life too short to waste doing something you dont enjoy. It also shoots you in the foot when it comes to future training, why would you spend money on someone who would only do it if they get paid over someone who wants to do it
