Just to make folks aware that have a subscription to this service and haven't read the terms and conditions (or have forgotten about them). If you do not cancel your subscription more than 3 months before the end date they will kindly renew you automatically for 5 years!

Indeed it has been brought up before. I also made it known to our account manager when we bought it we didn't really like that. However, when you look at other long term contracts, this sort of thing isn't completely unheard of. Just put a proper alert reminding everyone of the time to cancel in your calendars!

I can't say i agree that web service based contracts are similar to this.
