nathan Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Hi All, We have various Konica Minoltas around our schools, i'm currently setting up Zabbix (enterpirse monitoring) amongst many other things and want the technicians to be able to monitor consumables etc. I'm talking to the Konica Minolta copiers via SNMP, Konica are helpful and don't actually release MIBs to explain what all the OIDs represent. I've been using snmpwalk to try and map them out, starting with toner levels. I have an idea what they are but want to confirm the readings match those on the machine. Sounds like a simple thing to do but for the life of me i can't find where to get a % reading of toners on the machine or by logging in to its control panel. We're on a C454e just can't find where these readings are! Help!
MatthewL Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Manufactures will never release this data, I tried it with Sharp. Ended up working it out with my customer in the end with a bit of trial and error.
Arreks Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Utility -> Check Consumable Life on the physical machine?
pete Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 You can poll all the data on the BizHubs using the standard Printer-MIB from RFC1759. We're using it in Observium and (I think) Check_MK, so see if Zabbix likes it. http://www.simpleweb.org/ietf/mibs/modules/IETF/txt/Printer-MIB
