Hi Folks,

We have ipads for teachers and I have set up a VPP account for the school and I am able to buy and push out apps to the ipads ok using meraki. We now have a suite of iMacs which are currently stand alone and the art department want us to buy an app to install on them. Final cut pro. It's a mac only app and I can find it ok in our VPP store but I'm not sure how to deploy it to the iMacs and I can't seem to find a help guide anywhere.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Ok, I havent got a clue if this would work but....if you login to the meraki console, go to systems manager > add devices

Download the OSX client wait for it to appear in the console and see if it would let you do something with that.

I'm not sure I would want to push Final Cut Pro out though with it ...it must be a huge install.

Hi If you log into the App store on each mac with your Apple ID you used to purchase FCP and select "Purchased" you will see the INSTALL button on the right. Simply hit this and let it download and install. When you have installed it there are large amounts of extra files to download to complete the installation which will be optional for you to download. I've not tried it on mac clients but Profile Manager if you set it up should also let you install to your clients via VPP. Or you can make packages and distribute to your mac clients using Apple Remote Desktop

Thanks for the replies. I wondered if it was a case of just logging into each one and doing it that way. The easiest way would probably be just to do it one by one.
