KDMann Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Hi Tech Guys, Does anybody know any companies that provides Cisco or any other networking courses that either do distant learning or the training is based close to Luton in Bedfordshire. Ideally we would need the training to cover, Vlan routing and telephony systems and everything else is just a bonus.
Patrick Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Approach your local college and see if they offer the CCNA course.

When I did my CCNA via the OU Barnfield in Luton was used for some of the Saturday schools. They offer evening courses directly too. 1
themightymrp Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Not sure if this place is too far for you? Barnet & Southgate College
KDMann Posted January 18, 2016 Author Posted January 18, 2016 Thankyou, How long ago was this, as when i rang them a few months ago they told me they dont do CCNA course. Could just been a receptionist who is unaware.
themightymrp Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 According to this, recently! https://locator.netacad.com/node/93499
Sagima Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 QA do distance learning. I did the CCNA one last year from my office at home. Was brilliant. There were about 6 people in the class and another 3 remotely participating. The first week of the ccna probably covers enough of vlans and routing for you to muddle through
jtotheb Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Thankyou, How long ago was this, as when i rang them a few months ago they told me they dont do CCNA course. Could just been a receptionist who is unaware. IIRC they had them listed as the four Cisco curriculum modules as separate courses. Their site's down at the minute, but I'm sure they were down as part-time evening classes.
ellsandell Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 I recently did my CCNA through Firebrand - excellent experience, onsite over 6 days (Sun-Sat) with both exams taken.
