techy32 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 We are unable to see iPad on any computer as USB drive in computer. I do find Apple USB device under "devices and printer". We Can not transfer any picture or videos on PCs. Any idea?
NokiX Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 This may sound like a silly question however have you made sure to select trust device on the iPad itself after you plug it into your PC as without doing this you wont be able to access the data but it will appear as a device.

Off the top of my head I can't remember it but will have a look tomorrow for you and see if I can find it. It's part of the restrictions in Meraki.
Kingstech Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 If you go into Meraki profiles and select your restrictions profile there is a tick box that says "Allow Host pairing" this needs to be ticked. Hope this helps.

Joanne Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 What version of iOS is the iPad on? I know there was a time in 8.3 I think which wouldn't pair with computers. 9 seems ok though.

After updating all of mine they all now connect to computers If you don't want to update it you'll have to find a mac to plug it into or use a cloud service to get photos off. gotenks1321 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I've found that if iOS has been updated using the device itself then it tends to not connect and will need to be setup again. Also, we had to migrate to Apple Configurator 2 before iOS9 would start connecting to computers again.
Brimstone Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Meh.... Dropbox, Google Drive, MS One Drive, have you thought about using these free services so you don't need to connect via USB?
