Blocking firefox?

We have Ranger Lan Manager at our school, has anyone had any luck blocking the portable firefox exe using Ranger?

Why not use a title check for Firefox?

Or even better just use ranger to deny exe files running from the drive letter that your pen drives appear as.

I am very new to the Ranger product, how do i set up a title check?

Other methods:

-Don't use a transparent proxy (so user needs proxy IP info to browse)

-Use software restrictions to block pupils running exe files from removable storage or their home area(Also a good idea to add the likes of .bat, .cmd, etc)
