psydii Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/nakedsecurity/~3/97efDJDwq2U/ Their Mac stuff has been free for home use for years. This is an interesting move.
twin--turbo Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 UTM's free for home use. It's fiddly mind! I used to love sophos, but they are letting us down left right and center on many products at the moment. TT
Arthur Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Sophos also recently aquired SurfRight (the company that makes Hitman Pro). I hope they incorporate that into Sophos Home since it's really good. https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2015/12/23/hows-this-for-a-gift-try-our-new-free-sophos-home-on-your-pcs-and-macs-this-christmas Their Mac stuff has been free for home use for years. This is an interesting move. Being cloud-managed I assume Sophos Home doesn't slow down your Windows PC or Mac as much as their anti-virus has done in the past?
MrKJLS Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 If you use the Sophos home UTM, you also get some free sophos endpoint protection client licences. I think it's up to 10/20 Computer or something around that number
