Hi,

I have a scenario here where we have 3 servers in our domain. 1 server is a development server for an application we are about to launch. However, our developer, has set up his own domain using this server and it installed Active Directory etc. So basically his machine now appears in both our domain and his domain.

When this application is in use, we will be connecting to it via Internet Explorer:

Can anyone envisage any problems with this scenario?

If there is anything unclear about this please tell me and I will try to explain a little clearer.

Thanks

we can access it as we're using our main Forest root off our domain as the DNS Server via IP address.

It's just occasionally when we test it some pages take a few seconds to load or produce reports and users moan (silly I know)

There are quite a few factors to take into consideration - caching of pages, settings in IE security, trusted sites, exceptions list - DNS entries etc etc.

Also whats being generated on the web page ? Is it that taking the time at the server end or is it the delivery of the page to the client.....?

Anything in your event viewers on both the server and client ?
