kennysarmy Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 http://www.funwithlanguages.vacau.com/French/KS3unit3NearFuturePenguin.swf Works fine for admin accounts - but for students and teachers the penguin on the left won't move! Why so?
kennysarmy Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 Works on some PC's but not others! All PC's have the same version of Flash and Shockwave.
kennysarmy Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 If I use Google Chrome rather than IE11 it's fine (!) no matter who logs on.
bossman Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) @kennysarmy Could it be one of your smoothwall policies applied to students? IE.11 Could it be compatibility view settings in IE? Works fine here for all user types! Edited December 17, 2015 by bossman
kennysarmy Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 @kennysarmy Could it be one of your smoothwall policies applied to students? IE.11 Could it be compatibility view settings in IE? Works fine here for all user types! But I have some PC's where it does work for students - so the only variable is the actual PC - or the policies applied at the PC level I will move one of the non working PC's to the same OU that contains a known working PC Cheers for reply.
kennysarmy Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 Well that did n't help. It's in the same OU as other PC's where it works for all users and it won't work at all using IE for ANY user. I've double checked it's the same version of IE on both a non-working and working PC.
kennysarmy Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 I've re-imaged a PC - joined to the domain but left in the default computers OU and not installed any software or done any updates and when I try to run the game I get this pop up error message: Adobe Flash Player 9 An ActionScript error has occurred: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at penguin_fla::MainTimeline/newGame() at penguin_fla::MainTimeline/clickGameOption()
kennysarmy Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 After putting in the right OU flash has updated and now no error! But the DAMN penguin still won't jump - so it must be something on my latest image Google Chrome works - but I'd like to get to the bottom of what I've done to IE11 that stops it working on this build - even with ADMIN rights it won't JUMP!
witch Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 My left-hand penguin keeps falling in - must be something wrong
