Some text disappears

Series 2 Promethean Whiteboard. Firmware 3.75. Active driver v5.8.46 Windows 7 64bit PC. Resolution now set at 1024 x 768 but has been higher. Square monitor

 

Maths teachers uses flipcharts. Writes text of minus signs, dots, division signs in calculations and then scrolls to next frame. When he scrolls back up the signs has disappeared but the numbers remain.

 

Swapped out whiteboard, changed cables, swapped out PC. No nearby electrical charge.

This sounds like it might be an annoying bug that was found in 1.8 of ActivInspire.

If this teacher uses pen width 2 instead of 0 (which is what I suspect they are doing), does this make a difference?

 

There is some reason why pen width "1" cannot be introduced.

 

Please let me know if this "fixes" it.

We have changed the pen width and amazingly it has solved the problem.
