kidpressingbuttons Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Got 5 Dell latitude E5440 laptops which wont connect to the wifi until they have logged on. Have added a local group policy to make it wait and still not helping. Using the latest drivers on a fresh build of windows 7. Not sure what else to do!
Duke5A Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 What are you using for authorization, PSK or Radius? If it's Radius then it sounds like the computer accounts can't authenticate. Computer accounts members of the right group?
forkies Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Check the wifi setup on the laptops isn't set to "me only". 1
LeMarchand Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 (edited) Something in the BIOS cutting power to the card? Edited December 10, 2015 by LeMarchand Changed mind before original post, now removed extraneous word
daneil16 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Do you have a Group policy group for wireless? Sounds very much like the computer does not have permissions to authenticate
kidpressingbuttons Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Have checked everything in bios and there are no wireless group policies.
