IP Telephones

Hi:

We have implemented IP Telephones of Alcatel (8028 & 8038) and i am looking for a solution to access the line in remote offices.

We are using Palo Alto Firewall

Is there any way to access the IP Telephone Server Remotely via a third party VPN in order to connect remote offices to main telephone exchange.

Palo Alto VPN seems to reach the server but its via client on PC, and i cannot bridge the VPN adapter called GlobalProtect of Palo Alto

 

any tips to get it working

This is probably the easiest (from user point of view) and one of the most secure ways of providing the connection. Its also cheap. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TC833ulQRo8

 

You could open ports on the firewall directly to your PBX but its not recommended. The amount of attacks on SIP is quite incredible!
