Disease Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I am trying to set up a channel for the school in YouTube. I have created a school account but is there any way or whats the best way to achieve departmental channels to separate out the video? I would like students to visit the channel and select the department to view the relevant videos, is this even possible ? Many Thanks
thimon Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 You could create separate Playlists for each of the departments. See my first image, when the videos are uploaded you can click the tick box and choose Add to, then Create new playlist, guessing something along the name of a department. Then when people go on your school's YouTube Channel they can click on Playlists and see all the departments playlists. Sound ok? 1
Disease Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 Thanks, that looks like a great suggestion.
CyberNerd Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Another method, that allows students to access copyright material that the school owns a license for, is to upload them to specific departmental folders in Drive. Drive will auto encode them youtube style and access can be given at the group level and shared in classroom. 1
