Does anyone have any good music software that could be used in class or as revision??

 

It could be some that could be used on a interactive whiteboard or just on the network, ideally free but not fussed

 

this is for ages 11-16

 

we just dont have hardly any software at all!

That might be the sort of thing you're looking for. I'm sure a bit of Googling around the terms "flash" or "java" along with "music" or "drum machine", "synthesiser", "keyboard" or whatever will come up with some similar alternatives, depending on what exactly you need.

 

I know I saw a Greenfoot (runs as Java applet) keyboard that ran inside a browser window, bet you could play that on the IWB and fix that up to Jonny Lee's Wiimote gloves interface, play it from across the other side of the room... Thinking about it, isn't there a music game about to come out on the Wii? Use the Wiimote to play a variety of (air) instruments? Air guitar! Air drums! Air glockenspiel!
