Promethean Whiteboard Calibration

Hello all,

 

I have an old Promethean whiteboard running on the v5.9 driver. Overall it runs OK, however I'm informed it needs calibrating several times a day. The 5 point calibration is OK, however the 25 point is far more accurate.

 

For some odd reason though, I'm unable to select the 25 point even though it's available to click. Clicking 25 point still displays the 5 point calibration. Any idea why this may be?

25 point... I've only ever had 4 or 5 point calibration on our Promethean IWB's over the past 16 years.

I've found that older Promethean boards, typically with a blue/purple surround can only do a 5 point calibration. Modern grey surround Promethean boards can do 25 point.

 

In the end I did find a solution - swapping the PC (same make/model), seems to have cured it, so not sure if it's a USB related issue or not.
