Windows 10 DVD drive disabled (code 19)

Someone please help me, this is doing my nut in,

During the summer holidays I upgrade all out classroom PCs to Windows 10 (mix of HP ProDesk and Zoostorm machines) after a couple of days I noticed that the DVD drives were all disable in device manager, I uninstalled the device and re-scanned the system and it found it and it was working again but after the machine was rebooted the device would be disabled again.

I tried all of the fixes listed on > this < page but nothing worked, after failing to find a solution I bit the bullet and done a clean install on all the machines and that fixed the issue.

Now the problem is that the latest upgrade for Windows 10 has done the exact same thing and being so close to xmas when classroom are going to be wanting their DVD drives to play DVD's this is a huge issue that I'm not going to have time to resolve in the same way as I previously did.

Has anyone had this issue and found a solution? I need to find a fix otherwise I'm going to be running round re-installing devices every morning in December and there's a huge possibility that if I clean install all of the machines again that the next big update will throw it all back out again.

It looks like it was the ISO I was using, I've had the same one since July, I downloaded the most recent one without the latest update and it installed and did the build update to 10586 and the DVD drive stayed working.

Now I need to rebuild all the machines with the updated ISO :(
