Hi everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself and NetSupport, and say hi as the new sponsors of this forum. There are a few of us from NetSupport who will be about on the forum to hopefully answer any questions you have on NetSupport solutions and on the odd occasion, share some new product news with you :D.

I hope many of you will already know about us for our Classroom Management software, NetSupport School. We have been making education software for 26 years now, and the latest version of NetSupport School was released a few months ago with lots of great new features for Windows, tablets and beyond. We have a real focus on educational features within NetSupport school, and that tends to be what sets us apart. If you want to know more please feel free to visit www.NetSupportSchool.com.

What you might not know is that we do quite a few different solutions at NetSupport, and our latest solution released last week is NetSupport DNA 4. NetSupport DNA is a complete IT Asset and Desktop Management suite, with a versions specifically for schools. It's low cost, and covers all the main things a school needs to manage its network ( Inventory, licensing, Distribution, R/C, Alerting, Print Monitoring, Power Management, Change History, Application and Internet controls etc). Anyway its new and we think it provides schools in the UK with an genuine alternative option for PC and network management. If you would like to find out more, please visit www.NetSupportDNA.com

As an introductory post, i know it covers mostly about what we do at NetSupport, but I really hope we can share future ideas and you'll like the direction we are going. Like everyone, we aren't perfect, but we are doing our very best. As we are sponsors on Edugeek, please mention you are members if you download any evaluation software from us, and we will ensure you get a thank you discount should you decide to give us a try.

Anyway, thank you and i look forward to getting to chat with some of you over the months ahead.

We use NetSupport Notify. The price, support and thought into the deployment of the software was top notch, even included ADMs for configuring in AD. It's not needed any input from us since installation. So very happy.

We're another happy Netsupport customer at Warrington Collegiate. We've used it for *at least* 10 years, probably a lot longer and for the last few years, we've used the whole suit of tools: DNA, Notify, Service Desk. We don't really use Notify in anger - we are saving it for emergencies, but DNA and Service Desk are used by myself and my staff daily and they are major time savers. I can't recommend them enough!

Our attendance officer uses it daily alerting teachers who are not completing registers, she loves it!

Oooh, excellent idea. Registers are a constant problem!! How have you got it set up? A group per classroom? Or a group for tutor machines? We have ours currently set up as groups per building. Great for emergency comms eg "Can everyone in Block D run for their lives", but not enough for day to day communications...

I have net support notify! The office staff use it daily to send teachers messages. We have it set up as a group per class but the office staff change the drop down and select individuals so they can see if they are logged on in more than one place.

Same as above, divided into Admin, Classrooms, etc. They can see who is logged into which PCs easily to send nag messgaes. We occasionally use it for emergency IT messages. Works with Windows 10 too.
