linking sites

I’ve been asked link two schools to together so we can have a mapped drive. However, they are 3 miles apart so a fibre link is impossible. They are both on LGFL and have 40mb connections.

I thought maybe I could link the servers and have trusted domains through LGFL. I’m not sure of the best way to approach this?

What IP and ports would I need to request Atomwide to open?

You either need to get them to enable both networks to route or create a VPN between the 2.

3 miles is a solid distance to use something like ubiquiti air fiber or Ligowave point to point units if the geography is suitable. The link calculator at Ligowave.com will tell you.
