Virgin up costs

We use Virgin just for the simple reasons of their amazing internet.

 

We do have other things with them just for convince of one bill.

 

Get 162Mb on a 152Mb line and getting an upgrade to 200Mb by the end of the month.

I hate Virgin TV/Phone/Mobile with a passion, but sadly BB is amazing (damn them) Its either 2Mb via every other provider or 200Mb through them.

 

The Tivo is slow as an old arthritic dog!

 

I think we will be going BB only soon as were almost 100% streaming/free to air now anyway.

Other half rang them yesterday as wifi is faulty (on original super hub here) they have upgraded us now to 200mb and thrown in the new super hub, for less than it was advertised on website, so phone and bb will be a little over £40 pcm now

 

We are slowly transitioning to streaming/fta programming too thanks to the awesome Amazon Fire stick

Teach me your ways! What did you moan about to get all that thrown in for free!

 

I just said they were too expensive and was thinking of leaving - they dropped to about £45 and I said I never used the M+ TV package, so drop that off completely which dropped it to just over £40, then the bloke said would I still like the Freeview pack (M?) at no cost - I said yeah and they bunged me the Tivo - it seems ok, not great, but it comes with all the terrestrial catch up streaming channels which is handy for where it is as its fed over the cable rather than through the router which is in another room - I wouldn't pay for it, but ok for free. I guess they think that seeing all the stuff that I can't access will tempt me to cough for a bigger package - so its sort of a permanent advert - but I don't want 100s of channels of carp!
