HP BIOS downloads for servers - Entitlement required...

Hi All

 

Been attempting to download the latest BIOS for a Hewlett Packard DL380 G7. The traditional method of USB/CD boot is greyed out with 'entitlement required' listed. Appears you now need to subscribe to a chargeable 'care pack' to ensure you can download this. Has anyone on here managed to bypass this at all? Seems a bit overkill having to pay for a BIOS update!

The HP SPP download is also restricted to a valid support agreement so direct links should not be posted, in terms of what support you need this can be the 3 year on-site warranty the server comes with you don't have to buy extra / further support to get into it.

That is the page and it says in the right corner about the entitlements.

Thankyou for the direct (since removed) link and the more ethical way of accessing it. Sadly there was misinformation provided by a 3rd party supplier who insisted that we had to pay for BIOS upgrades out of 3 year warranty. Good old Edugeek.
