Sister is after a printer for printing labels and leaflets, any recommendations? Haven't printed anything in years let alone looked at buying a printer.

I have an HP laserJet CP1025 at home. Nice small size for a desktop, does colour printing and the toners last ages. No idea if the model is still current; there's undoubtedly a newer version if not.

Got one of these when eBuyer were knocking them out cheaply: Dell C1765NFW Multifunction Colour Laser Printer (Print/Scan/Copy/Fax): Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

A bit big for the space I have and can be finicky with paper (I should probably use better quality paper or not print "on the back" of stuff left by the school printer). Hardly ever print, but got sick of having to throw out machines because the ink carts had dried up/damaged the heads. Not had to replace any toner, but well-reviewed compatibles seem reasonably priced. Now discontinued; the replacement is around £200.

I would be looking for a laser printer saves the inks drying up, you can pick up some second hand ones as well as new quite cheap these days. Just note if printing labels to make sure the labels paper type is set and they are the right labels for the printer (inkjet or laser) otherwise the printer could be soon in the skip or needing replacement parts.
