SharePoint Booking System - periods of the day instead of times

We are using SharePoint 2013 and I'd like to create a room booking system. If possible it would make teacher's lives much easier if I could get it to display periods of the day rather than times.

 

I'd like to be able to say for example, that 9:00am - 9:55am is Lesson1. Then when a teacher makes a booking, they just select Lesson1, rather than having to specify start and end times.

 

When they view the calendar list in calendar view, SharePoint would then need to interpret 'Lesson1' as being equal to 9:00 until 9:55 so it shows in the right place on the calendar.

 

Is this something anyone else has managed to achieve?
