Upgrade to Wins 10 twice ?

I upgraded to Wins 10 while ago, but now want to sell the machine as I have moved on to another machine, as this one had problems

 

The recovery sector will take it back to Win 7 which I want to do to start afresh

 

So my question is - will it be possible to upgrade to Wins 10 again on the same machine ????

The windows 10 upgrade is hardware specific so as long as the hardware doesn't change it should be possible to do that. What I recommend is something like the following:

This is the best way to go as it allows for a fresh install of windows 10 so it shouldn't experience any bugs from a bad upgrade.

You need to make sure that your Windows 10 has been Activated with Microsoft. Once this has been done, you can do a fresh install the full copy of windows 10.

There is a built in reset function you could try, it's under Settings>Update & Security >Recovery

OK - its been over 30 days though !

 

I have started the reinstall of Wins 7 and keeping my fingers crossed

If you have had Windows 10 installed & activated it, just use the media creation tool & clean reinstall, it'll activate.
