foofighterjim Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I had this running at an old site of mine, what process did you use to make the package and have you tried this package on any x86 workstations?
cygnes Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 Hi, i have no idea, i did not create the package, was made well before i started working at this school. all our computers are now x64 school. i was going to repackage the software but when trying this on a freshly built x64 computer i got the same error. - - - Updated - - - but yes it did previously work on x86 computers.
foofighterjim Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Do you have a vanilla x64 computer and the original media? If so try a manual install if you get the same error on a vanilla workstation you stand no chance crating a working package for x64 workstations. If it succeeds I recon it should be possible. Let me know if you need help and I will do what I can.
cygnes Posted October 20, 2015 Author Posted October 20, 2015 that's very kind, i'll give this ago tomorrow. Thanks
googlemad Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 You could do with upgrading to the latest version, I think we had 8.1 and it certainly caused a few odd glitches on Windows 7. We now have version 11 which has the added benefit of you can do a network share install so that no installation is actually required on client PCs.
AXE Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I have a patch to get this working on 64 bit Windows 7 if you're interested. 1
