At present one of my academys is running 2003 and the other is running 2007, We are at the point where We want to bring them both in line.

 

If we upgrade the 2003 one to 2007 we loose the ability to do ecdls as I understand its only compatible with 2003 at the moment, If we downgrade the other one all work done in 2007 format will be incompatible.

 

Any ideas on how to proceed would be much appreciated.

Not quite. Go to MS, and search for Office 2007 compatibility pack..:) I've chucked it on all our 2003 rigs as more staff and kids are using 2007 now. They can open/save back and forth quite well..:)
