ICT Technician

2nd Line support role with a salary range from £20,848 to £23,698 (Depending on experience).

 

 

You should have practical experience with building and supporting computer and AV hardware that runs over a Windows server network. We are a relatively new school in Reading, Berkshire with a comprehensive network infrastructure looking for someone to grow with it.

 

 

Minimum experience of -:

Multiple desktop computer build, installation and repair.

Laptop basic component replacement and upgrades.

Installation and configuration of Windows 7, MS Office and Outlook.

Interactive white board, projector and audio configuration and support.

Working with Ethernet cabling, wireless AP, switches and backup equipment.

Active Directory and the management of accounts, groups and permissions.

 

 

Greater practical knowledge of one or more of the following would enhance your chance of selection: Windows Server 2008 R2 - 2012, Exchange, Hyper-V, SCCM.
