ICT Technician 2nd Line support role with a salary range from £20,848 to £23,698 (Depending on experience). You should have practical experience with building and supporting computer and AV hardware that runs over a Windows server network. We are a relatively new school in Reading, Berkshire with a comprehensive network infrastructure looking for someone to grow with it. Minimum experience of -: Multiple desktop computer build, installation and repair. Laptop basic component replacement and upgrades. Installation and configuration of Windows 7, MS Office and Outlook. Interactive white board, projector and audio configuration and support. Working with Ethernet cabling, wireless AP, switches and backup equipment. Active Directory and the management of accounts, groups and permissions. ICT Senior Technician at John Madejski Academy (Reading, Berkshire) Salary circa £23,000 depending on experience; 37 hours/week, full-time This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced ICT professional who is looking to develop his or her career. We have a modern and comprehensive Windows Server 2008/12 network with up to date computer and audio-visual resources. The successful candidate will be proactive in providing Academy wide support throughout the school and remotely. As the ICT Senior Technician you will be expected to have good experience with the configuring and ongoing operation of the server hardware and Windows server operating system, as well as routine IT and AV support duties.
