edutech4schools Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Anyone else on Android 6 Marshmallow? Had it for a few days on my Nexus 5 and have already used the new Google tap lots. It's been so handy I am not sure I could live without this very handy feature. Not found much else different from v5 so far.
sllorep Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 I've been running M since the second Tech Preview release on my Nexus 5, but unfortunately NowOT wasn't enabled on any of the TP releases. I flashed the release version on day 2 of release. I have used Now-OT for quite a few things, but mostly whilst looking up info about movies and TV shows (in Netflix app etc). Where have you found it most useful? My battery does seem to last a little longer than when I was on Lollipop. I've had a couple crashes since flashing to the latest build (interestingly, I didn't have any on the TP3 release!). When I flashed to the latest build, the first time it came up, it said that I had 12.55GB of space, when I have a 32GB Nexus 5! I panicked and just used the stock recovery to reset to factory and it came up as 27GB free space! Weird. I'm liking the search feature on the app draw, that's nice.
hardtailstar Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Not got Marshmallow on my Nexus 6 yet! My mum has on her Nexus 5 though. Now on tap will be one feature I will making a big use of.
fairm010 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 (edited) Worst I work for Google title ever. Edited October 12, 2015 by fairm010
edutech4schools Posted October 14, 2015 Author Posted October 14, 2015 wish I worked for Google. Staff at my schools are about as far removed technology wise from Google as is possible.
