Cannot Find 4Matrix.exe

Anyone know how to fix this error? Been trying to get through to support but they are swamped.

Not sure if we have the same problem. But:

 

A quick look and it appears that the launcher shortcut on the desktop has been replaced with the actual launcher.exe

 

This appears to expect to find the 4matrix.exe etc in the folder from which it was launched.

 

Running the launcher.exe from the 4matrix folder in Program Files seems to correctly launch 4Matrix, as does creating a short cut to the program files 4Matrix Launcher.exe and placing that on the desktop.

 

There is a new update available. We have autoupdated turned off, and I'm not the one who runs it so I haven't checked to see if the version released today fixes things.

Just got off the phone to support who fixed it (thanks guys! ). My problem was the update removed a load of files from the shared area (it places them in the share then uses it to create a locally cached copy in the user's home folder). One of them was the actual 4Matrix executable. The fix is to get the latest update from the website, rename it with the .exe extension and extract the files to the 4Matrix's location on the network share. Job's done.

 

I think people my not be running the cached copy and going straight to the network share causing it to fail if someone leaves it open.
