APMerry Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find it. Does anyone know if you can configure Chromebooks to auto login to a specific account? Basically what i'm trying to do is lock down a bank of Chromebooks to 1 specific account per device so students cant login to their own google account. Any info would be appreciated, chromebooks scare me Thanks
robjduk Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Chromebooks shouldn't scare you and are pretty much the best thing since sliced kebabs... Wouldn't think you can auto login however there is a setting somewhere in the management console to only allow signin to certain domains. Put your school's in there and bingo! 1
garethEds Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Yes - we auto log in. We set it to kiosk mode and then have Office 365 as the main Chrome window when it opens. This means users can log into their O365 and edit their documents. There is a setting in the management console. It's brilliant. Gareth 1
