deanrawlings Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Hi there, I've been getting the error msg when trying to run Apple Configurator since the summer and it wont let me in. I'm not a massive Mac user but use the Apple Config to update the bank of laptops we have. Sounds like Apple config 2 is going to make this much easier. "Could not refresh the IOS update catalog - An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made" Ive had a good Google but there doesn't seem to be many other similar problems theres a few for "Could not refresh the IOS update catalog" but not for the "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made" maybe this is a standard Mac error. Im running OSX Yosemite on the Mac mini with all the latest system updates etc. Wonder if I need to add the URL that the Apple Config. uses to contact Apple servers? I've had a quick look in the certificates too but nothing obvious (to me)! Would be greatful if anyone could shed any light or might have seen something similar. Cheers in advance.
tmoon-mint Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Check the date and time are correct on the Mac Mini. 1
