I'm hoping there's a simple answer to this one! Our Cover Administrator has flagged up that she's currently unable to see the AM Reg period or assign cover for it. I'm not very experienced with Cover but she showed me the Cover Diary and I can sort of see the problem.

We have a different registration system for 6th form and lower school - we do this as we're a joint 6th form with guest students. There is a defined Reg Period set up in Nova and Year 12 and 13 get assigned to these Reg Period 'classes'. Year 7 - 11 are registered as AM reg and they are not assigned to the Reg Period class. At the moment in the Cover Diary the 6th form registration shows up but not the AM registration session. But we actually need the reverse as the 6th form lessons are not covered.

This is apparently a new problem, so it must have worked with our odd setup in the past. Any ideas on how to solve this?

TIA

We had a problem with cover after running the summer SIMS upgrade. Certain periods where not showing up within cover.

We had to contact our LA SIMS support team who referred it to Capita. Capita were aware of the issue and supplied a patch. We ran it on Friday and it's fixed the issue.

Hope it helps.

Don't suppose you know what patch it was? Seems we got to he same issue with AM REG missing on cover

They thought it was a planning issue but guess might be the same

Thanks,

Steve

Check the NCC has a member of staff assigned to it in NovaT6. Our timetabler forgets to do this every year and the cover manager can see no am registrations for cover.
