We're in a bit of a pickle.

We have a number of reports in SIMS designed to produce labels for pupils, however what we are finding is that they miss a record out between pages.

Example.

A page has 6 labels

Prints pupils 1-6, misses 7, then prints another 6, misses another, prints another 6 and so on.

In the report design, we have <> after each label, so no sure why it wants to miss one for every page.

Thoughts?

Okay, quick update

Solved it while I was typing the post.

Remove the last <> on the last label; it looks like SIMS automatically gets the next record on a new page.

When designing label mailmerge reports:

in Word mailmerge template for the labels report, design layout of label1 onto the template

In label2 make sure that the first thing you insert is the tag <>, then immediately copy contents of label1 to label2, after the next record tag

now copy contents of label 2 onto all other labels on the template

when doing it this way it will not skip a label after every page break

hope this helps
