I may be missing an obvious one as only read about it a bit but can anyone with a Microsoft account open the emails or is there a way to restrict it to a certain account? Eg HR to Head etc

Thanks,

Steve

Only the recipients can read the encrypted messages. If you sign in with a different account you are refused access.

That would mean it also includes Email encryption!

Yes. That is advertised on that page.

Did you have to do anything to activate it, as I'm not seeing it yet. Do you see it under 'Service Settings'?

Can you restrict it to only certain users so the kids can't start using it?

Also you can setup automatic encryption and decryption between 2 office 365 tenants. The end user will not even know its happening.

Rights Management is pretty awesome! I DRM e-mails all the time, obviously you have the compliance bars that you can now meet... both when communicating internally and externally. At the same time you also get a few perks where I you were to send an e-mail to quite a lot of people in a DL or Large Audience you can stop them from replying all etc.

It does come in very handy for sure and I think this a great benefit for EDU Sector!

get DRM'ing!

;-)
