Sony VPL-SX125 Can't zoom

Hi,

 

We've got a Sony VPL-SX125 short throw projector that I am mounting in a classroom, but when I enter the menu to zoom it say "Can not adjust this item". Really helpful for a projector. Any ideas?

Sounds silly but is it a manual zoom only but the power zoom option is still in the menu? Dont know that model but we have some short throw Epson's which I think are like that.

Digital zoom can usually only be adjusted when an input signal is shown, and sometimes they can be fussy about the input type whether analogue or digital.
