Known Issue: Upgrading to App-V 5.1 from App-V 5.0 SP2/SP3 causes Internet Explorer to crash. The following link mentions a couple of workarounds.

This Microsoft-authored settings location template bundle for Microsoft Office 2016 (32-bit, 64 bit, backup and restore) is supported by Microsoft for use with User Experience Virtualization 2.1. This template defines which user's settings locations to synchronize for the following Microsoft Office 2016 applications:

Is UE-V part of EES licensing?

UE-V is included with MDOP, but to be licensed for MDOP you would need to have included it as part of your EES agreement (e.g. via 2UJ-00044 or 2UJ-00066) or renewed your EES agreement after the release of Windows 10 (as mentioned below).

 

"With the availability of Windows 10, Microsoft also is going to offer Enterprise users with Software Assurance free access to the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP). Today, MDOP is an optional, paid add-on for Enterprise and Software Assurance customers. As of the launch of Windows 10, MDOP will be included for free with Software Assurance for new customers and renewal customers, but not retroactively. MDOP bundles together a number of virtualization, management and recovery tools."
