Just some general comments about the Windows 10 built-in Mail App + feel free to add more.

 

I think it's good enough for most students. Staff may still want to use Outlook as it has the integrated Calendaring etc.

 

The app is easy to use, however it does lack one thing. The ability to disable conversation view. I have done extensive testing and it's simply not possible.

I like it, it's an improvement over the W8.1 mail app and works well. I wish for better junk control, is all. It's certainly excellent in tablet mode, I use it all the time.

You also can't resize the columns which makes it a bit frustrating.
