Hi,

I'll explain our situation and what happened first before asking what I can do.

Our staff usernames had always been set as John.Smith however it was decided that this year they wanted it changed to SmithJ. This wasn't an issue and we changed them all no problem.

I then synced our AD with Office 365 and all users showed up with the correct username @onmicrosoft.org which obviously needed changing. I licensed them all in powershell and then ran a script I'd used successfully before with student accounts to change the microsoft domain to our own one. This is where it gets weird and I can't understand why it happened. It changed the domain fine, however it also changed all names back to the old naming convention i.e john.smith

So now all the display names show smithj but the username is [email protected]

Is there a way I can easily match the username to the display name @DomAin.com?

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks a lot.
