zag Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Does anyone know a piece of software(preferably freeware) that shows Folder sizes as nice Bar/Pie charts? I already have treesize pro, but its 30 day trial has just run out. The only thing I really need is for it to work with mapped or network drives.
Geoff Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I use WinDirStat for this. Opensource, thus free. http://windirstat.info/

mrforgetful Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I'd recomment buying Treesize to be honest, I've found it well worth the price, which isn't a lot anyway!

It picked out the Video and Image files right away and made it very easy to reduce the size of my network drives. Now the only thing I need is software that scans the network drives and downsamples jpeg files automatically I have the XP powertool resizer, but it is time consuming!

dezt Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I've used spacemonger before, just google it and it should come up.
