National Three Peaks Challenge

Hi all,

 

Just a little plea really.

 

On Monday me and some of the teaching staff will be attempting the national 3 peaks. 3 countries, 3 mountains, 24 hours!

 

We are doing this to help build a creche in South Africa for children that have been affected by aids. This is because of our schools link with a couple of schools in the area and we have been and seen first hand the devastating effects that aids has on these children.

 

This is quite a hard sell as I know there are many other more popular charities out there but please, if you can spare anything, I would be very grateful. We have a crowdfunding page at Just Giving - we had to do it this way as the charity wasn't registered with them.

 

This is a pretty epic challenge for me personally - I am not super fit and so I need every incentive I can get to push myself that little bit harder! We start the challenge at Ben Nevis at 5pm on Monday 20th and hopefully finish at Snowdon before 5pm on the Tuesday. I am going to try and keep a Twitter feed for updates so if your really interested you can follow our progress. I will add it here nearer the time.
