LukeC Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Hello, I'm in the process of building a new print server 2012 R2. I have a mix of Windows 7 x64 and x86 clients. Do I install the server 2012 R2 driver on the print server and also the windows 7 x86 driver on the print server as an additional driver or do I just do the Windows 7 drivers x86 and x64? Thanks

timbo343 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 (edited) I would install the x64 drivers first, then access the printer properties and add the x86 drivers. Ive sometimes found the Win7 and Server driver are the same unless the hardware isnt supported, like the Canon Pro100 inkjet printer which i found doesnt run on server installs.
