They are coming in October onwards I believe, not September.

At a conference I was at a few weeks ago there was a BBC Digital rep, who said that they are starting with year 7s but at the same time they are also looking to see if they can "sell" the devices after the bulk shipments and if it is feasible to extend it to other year groups.
