andydis Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Does anybody use an external cloud filtering service for 365? I have just taken on a setup where the MX record first goes to GFI MAilmax / GFI cloud server then gets forwarded to 365, This seems counter productive to me as surely 365 cannot check the MX/SPF record if its coming from another source. Surely the built in 365 antispam is fine ( is for my other sites) thoughts?
iom100 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 We're just building out O365 setup here, and we're putting all mail through mailcontrol incoming and outgoing to keep the SPF records simple. Seems to work well in testing.
synaesthesia Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 We just use the built in 365 filtering, it's more than sufficient for us
Michael Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I use the built in tools in all O365 tenants too. If spam ever became a major issue, you can always configure mail rules as a workaround.
