Not sure how many cricket fans there are on here but what are peoples thoughts..... If I'm being brutaly honest I think it will be 2-1 to the Aussies but would love England to prove me wrong.

Well, err, it's a start. Pitch doesn't look like doing much. Root vital to this...

 

Got tickets for day 5 at Lords and day 4 at the Oval.

Good recovery from where we were. If we can hold out till lunch I think that will put is in a decent position

Get another 50-60 from the tail (maybe) and we'll be in a good position. Wouldn't like chasing on that wicket.

It was a shame that Cook couldn't push on yesterday, if he could have just got up to 25 or 30 his confidence would have grown and with some of the aussie bowling he could have got a big total

Hopefully Moeen can get a few runs this morning to turn this into a proper score. Otherwise I can see the Aussies going well beyond it and then the pressure will really come on.
